Özgörkey Holding is one of Türkiye’s leading companies
operating in domestic and international markets, with
subsidiaries predominantly in the packaging and plastics
industry, additionally in agriculture, beverage, and real estate sectors.

Founded in 1997, Özgörkey Holding A.Ş. is based on the industrial investments established
 by A. Nevzat Özgörkey in the 1960s, which are still among the leading companies in the country. 

The entrepreneurial journey that began in the 1950s with the Terakki Kollektif (Unlimited Company)
 Company turned into a long business partnership following the bottling and distribution agreements
 with Coca-Cola in the 1960s. This was preceded by the establishment of Ege Biracılık ve Malt Sanayi
 and future investments with Anadolu Holding.

Özgörkey Holding is one of the investors of Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. (CCI), which operates in 12 countries
 with more than 10,000 employees and is the 6th largest bottler of the Coca-Cola system in the world with
 its sales volume and is also the business partner of Anadolu Group, one of Türkiye's leading conglomerates.

Özgörkey Holding aims to maintain its entrepreneurial spirit from the 1950s to the present day and to
 the future with a business model based on sustainable development principles, holistic quality,
 environmental, and human resources management systems with the motto "Caring for Business, Caring
 for Employees, Caring for Our World".

 

About Us

One of Türkiye's most respected entrepreneurs and industrialists,
A. Nevzat Özgörkey was born in Izmir in 1924. He
started his business life at a very young age by importing
engines and later served as the Aegean and
Mediterranean distributor of Milangaz for many years.

Nevzat Özgörkey, one of the founders of Ege Biracılık, was a board member of Efes Pilsen for many
 years. Together with his partners, he established the Coca-Cola plant in Izmir under the name İmbat
 Meşrubat Sanayi in 1967, laying the foundations for the company that is now known as Coca-Cola Beverages.

By commissioning 6 factories for Coca-Cola, in 1982 in Antalya, in 1986 in Kemalpaşa, Izmir, in 1990 in
 Işıkkent, Izmir, and two in Romania in 1992 and 1993, he assumed the position of Vice President of the
 company, which carried out all Aegean and Mediterranean operations of Coca-Cola between 1968 and 1998.

In 1992, he invested in plastic injection moulding, which is one of the most important business lines
 of Özgörkey Holding A.Ş. today, and in fruit juice concentrate, which laid the
 foundations of Anadolu Etap in 1993.

In 1997, together with his children Cemal Özgörkey, Armağan Özgörkey and Özlem Adalı, he founded 
 Özgörkey Holding A.Ş., the entire capital of which belongs to the Nevzat Özgörkey family.

Nevzat Özgörkey is also one of the founding members of Izmir Equestrian Sports Club. 

Nevzat Özgörkey left an indelible mark as a pioneering businessman who lived his 85 years to the fullest
 on the principles of development, productivity and adding value to his employees and society.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

With the circular economy approach, we aim to reduce resource use and waste generation, recycle wastes as much as possible, and adopt longevity and durability as basic principles. We know recycling is a joint responsibility both on our part and on the part of consumers and the producers. We continuously improve ourselves and develop our products to make flexible and rigid packaging recyclable or reusable.

Team Özgörkey Volunteers is a volunteer
working group that comes together to promote the
principle of "Create Value, Contribute, Share" among
all employees of the group and to ensure
that the knowledge, skills and experience of
volunteers reach a wider audience of stakeholders.

UN Global Compact

Our subsidiaries Etapak Ambalaj and Etap Injection Plastic are both members of the UN Global Compact Turkey, which has completed the requirements to form an association aiming to mobilize the business world for responsible practices in line with the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals.

We are delighted to be a member of the UN Global Compact Türkiye founded as a local network under the name of the Association of Signatories to the UN Global Compact. We care about contributing to interrupted endeavours of sustainability in our country without slowing down and we see it as our priority. At this point, we lay high significance on collaboration with the business world.

That is why our company is one of the pioneers of the association's packaging manufacturers.

Nevzat Özgörkey cared about business life, sharing the values he created and developing his investments
together with his community. The dealership model he chose for growth, multi-partner companies, investments
made with the publicly traded company model, all reflect the philosophy of 'co-development' that he embraced wholeheartedly. 

His desire for development was not limited to industrial investments. The social development of the environment
in which he lived was also a goal he prioritized throughout his life. The idea of continuing his social contributions
in various fields within an institutional structure after his death would be one of the most meaningful things
that could be done to keep his memory alive. For this purpose, the Nevzat Özgörkey Fund was first established
and the resources allocated for the fund were utilized in social projects in areas such as education, health, sports
and arts, in line with his philosophy of 'development together'.

The Nevzat Özgörkey Fund was further developed and turned into a foundation with the aspiration to carry out
activities related to water, which has always been at the center of Nevzat Özgörkey's life and is of great importance
for human life. Beyond being a visionary, principled, loyal and hardworking businessman, Nevzat Özgörkey
valued the priceless nature, water and soil of his country. The Nevzat Özgörkey Fund, which works in line with
Nevzat Özgörkey's principle of “What you take from society, you should give back to society!”, was named
Nevzat Özgörkey Environment and Water Foundation (NEVSU) character and the abundance of water. 

Nevzat Özgörkey Environment and Water Foundation aims to undertake activities and provide support in numerous
areas, especially in striving to protect our country's water resources for future generations with the sense of social
and environmental responsibility.
