Izmir Governor Dr. Suleyman Elban Visited Etapak Ambalaj Factory

The Governor of Izmir, Dr. Süleyman Elban, paid a return visit to our factory following the visit of Mr. Armağan Özgörkey, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Özgörkey Holding, to the Governor on July 29. The sustainability efforts we have been implementing in our companies and the exchange of views through our NEVSU Foundation that were discussed during Mr. Armağan's visit in July, were addressed in more detail during the meeting with Mr. Governor's. Mr. Governor was accompanied by Mr. Fatih Görmüş, the District Governor of Çiğli, during this visit.

Honorable Governor, primarily toured our production facility with interest and received information about our processes and examined our product development studies in our laboratory. At the meeting held after the factory tour, Onur Uruşak, our Group Sustainability and Technical Director, and Gökhan Kırca, our Group Production Manager, shared our sustainability efforts to reduce our products' carbon footprint, innovative products, R&D projects, and circular economy collaborations. At the end of the highly productive visit, Armağan Özgörkey expressed that we, as an organization, are ready to take responsibility for the water issues that have become a major agenda of our city as a result of climate change.
